5-Star Halkidiki - It's a long, quiet, relaxing summer 2025

Location: Greece, Halkidiki

We had written that Halkidiki works at a different pace and has specific peculiarities compared to other destinations we examined in the past. Trying to unlock some of its secrets we searched for prices and availability with 2 different LOS (length of stay), a 3-day and a 7-day stay, from late April to early October.
5-Star Halkidiki - It's a long, quiet, relaxing summer 2025
The 2 diagrams below show us two different images:
In the first chart (LOS=3) we see the availability to be quite limited and to form a wide bottom from early June to the end of August, while the weighted average has the familiar bell-shaped curved shape with its peak being in the first days of August.

The third curve shows us how many hotels are available at any one time for each date. Across the seabed, this number does not exceed 12 hotels with a minimum price of 8.

In the second chart (LOS=7) we see availability to be almost three times higher throughout the season, flat form, without the weekend outbreaks that we observe in other destinations, and the average also has the shape of an asymmetrical bell with a flat top that lasts at least 3 weeks (from late July to mid-August). The right leg (descent) is somewhat steeper, so we conclude that September should not be as strong a month as it happens in other areas.

Our third curve shows 33 hotels available at any one time for most of the summer.

The Hotel Insider continues to constantly monitor all the markets in which it has completed its research (Athens, Thessaloniki, Mykonos, Halkidiki) and constantly informs its followers about any interest that arises. Our contributors receive additional consulting with personalized price suggestions and very useful forecasts to always be ahead of developments.
