Athens 4-Star Hotels - Part I - Start Positions

Location: Greece, Athens

Continuing our study on the hotels of Athens with the help of Hotel Insider, we prepared the starting list of the 4-stars of the city center.

We have written that this list is revealing as to the attractiveness of the proportions of the units at the top of it. A good position on this list paves the way for sales above the weighted average of the category, and therefore higher revenue per room sold.

This will also be confirmed in the next post where the comparisons of units based on competitiveness indicators will be made.

At the top of the list we find the hotel AVA Hotel Athens: the combination of strategic location, high popularity and limited offer puts it first with a big difference compared to the The Zillers Athens that is in second place. It is no coincidence that this unit is at the top of TripAdvisor every year.

In third place is another boutique hotel, Ergon House by ERGON FOODS company and in fourth place is the first medium-sized hotel to go by the name Niche Hotel Athens.

A series of boutique hotels follow (Athens Flair, Royalty Hotel Athens, etc.) to find another medium-sized hotel, in the Electra Hotel of Electra Hotels & Resorts in 10th place (and here we see the "Electra effect" taking place once again) and within walking distance follow The Athens Gate Hotel, Amalia Hotel from Amalia Hotels, B4B and finally the Herodion Hotel from the H&P Hotels Greece | Herodion & Philippos Hotels completes the top fifteen.
