Athens Market Update

Since March has arrived, we decided to take a fresh look at the 4-star market in Athens. The chart below is extremely enlightening. We have three months, March, April and May, and it seems that each month operates separately with its own floor level:

a) The minimum price for March (around 125 €) is located within the week that comes with the next ones being 10 € higher (always midweek).

b) The start of April is accompanied by a jump of 50 € in the weighted average and the minimum level (floor level) rises to 170 €.

c) A corresponding, bigger jump (70 € this time!) is observed as soon as May starts with the minimum level making a corresponding jump to 220 € and the maximum exceeding 250 €.

Availability follows the well-known draft pattern on Fridays & Saturdays with peaks (maximum availability) Tuesdays - Wednesdays.
